Niagara Falls


This is a picture of the Floral Clock in Niagara Falls. This is an actual working clock made of flowers and plants. As you can see, it is a very popular attraction.


This is a picture of the Great Whirlpool that is formed when the Niagara River turns 90 degrees and flows off into a new direction. You can actually see the water swirling around in the whirlpool.


This is a picture of an aerocar that travels across the Great Whirlpool for a spectacular view. Unknown to us, Tommy snuck his way onto the car for a free ride. He was in hot water when he got back! When asked if the trip was worth it, he said "YES!"


This is a picture of Tommy sitting on the ledge overlooking the Horseshoe Falls. The mist from the falls caused a rainbow to form on both these falls and the American Falls. It was a spectacular sight.


This picture was taken just above the Horseshoe Falls. Again a rainbow was present. It was awesome watching the water surge over the falls. I would'nt want to be swimming in that water!


This is a picture of the Horseshoe Falls taken from a distance. They say 1000 bathtubs full of water cascade over those falls every second! That is alot of water!


This is a picture of the smaller American Falls. Even though they are not as grand as the Horseshoe Falls, they are still quite a beautiul sight. Again, you can see the rainbow that is formed from the mist at the bottom of the falls.


This is a picture of the "Maid of the Mist", a passenger boat that cruises below the falls. All passengers have to wear raincoats in order to keep from getting soaked when the boats get close to the falls.


This is a picture of the Skylon Tower, the tallest tower in Niagara Falls. The top section contains a revolving dining room that slowly moves as you enjoy dinner. The meal is okay, but the view is spectacular!


This is a picture of Tommy on top of the Minolta Tower, which is a smaller counterpart to the Skylon Tower. We decided to go up to the top of the tower at night to see the falls all lit up. Giant flood lights light the falls each evening in full color. The colors change every fifteen minutes. It is a beautiful sight.


This is a picture of the smallest tower in Niagara Falls. This tower is located just feet away from Casino Niagara. The view from this tower isn't as grand as from the other two towers but it does offer a nice relaxing ride. After this tower, we went to the Casino to try our luck. We were really lucky!
