This is a picture of The Mohawk Valley. A B1 Bomber that used to fly out of Griffiss when our base was still a base. Just before the base closed, this aircraft was retired and turned into a monument. It now sits greeting visitors to the Griffiss Business and Technology Park (the Former Griffiss Air Force Base). |

This is a picture of our original City Hall. Several years ago, a new building was erected to house our city's leaders and this building was turned into the Rome Art & Community Center. |

This is a picture of St Peter's church. It is Romes oldest and most ornate structure. The inside of this massive structure is a site to behold. |

This is a picture of Fort Stanwix. Several years ago, many building were demolished to erect this actual replica of New York's historic fort. The rebuilt fort sits on the same site that the origional fort once stood many years ago. |

This is a picture of downtown Rome. Just a few years ago this main street through downtown (Dominick Street) was reopened to vehicular traffic. For many years this road was closed and a walking mall existed for shoppers to move from store to store. |
