| This is a picture of the upstairs of the Library of Congress. On the walls and ceilings are the quotes and names of many famous literary artists from as early as the original 13 colonies. This was by far the most beautiful building we saw while we were in D.C. |

| This is the view as you enter the main room from the front door of the Library of Congress. The paintings are so colorful. Believe it or not, all the ceilings were covered until a couple of years ago as this building was used as an office building. When the new Madison building was completed, and the offices moved, they removed the false ceilings and found this wonderous work of art. |

| This is a picture of one of the upstairs corridors in the Library of Congress. on the far end of the picture you can see two red banners. There are 8 of them on this floor total with two hanging at each corner. On them you find a word of inspiration and a statue that represents the word. |

| This is a snapshot of the outside of the Library of Congress. If you have never gotten a chance to see the inside of this building, I suggest you plan to on your next trip to D.C. It is something you won't soon forget. |
